I am absolutely
obsessed with my most recent online purchase, a gorgeous Marc Jacobs Stam knockoff. Wait - it shouldn't even be considered a knockoff, it's too pretty! I was browsing someone's blog and came across
Shop Suey Boutique, the website for a cute little boutique in Redlands, California. I was immediately drawn to their selection of inexpensive bags that look like "the real deal." Interested, I flipped through a few pages until I found the
Samantha Satchel,, and let me tell you, it was like love at first sight. Just five days later, a box came to my door from Shop Suey, containing my bag, my baby.
First off, it looks way better in person. I received dozens of comments in the first few days of usage from girls at school, saying "Your bag is so cute, where on earth did you get that?" I would beam and shrug, "Just some little boutique online." I feel quite classy carrying my satchel around to school. It goes with my usual ensembles of black, grey and creme (I've been quite boring in my color choices, lately) and it fits all my school supplies, planner, phone, headphones, wallet, etc. My favorite part of the bag? The adorable "coin purse" closure - it makes opening and closing the bag so much fun!
I was able to scrounge up a promotional code for the site online - want 20% off any purchase? Use the code "SECRET" - my bag, which was originally $38, was reduced to just $30!
