This is what makes me feel like I'm at home - cozy down comforters, a pet nearby, and a trusty laptop at hand. I love the light that shines through the windows, it's quite angelic.

The pink tinsel christmas tree in my bedroom gets me in the holiday spirit every day when I wake up!

My mom gets the Garnet Hill catalogue in the mail every once in a while. I was flipping through it the other day and fell in love with this bedding set!





If I was Mrs. Claus, I'd have fun doing the laundry for Santa! I get a kick out of his long underwear!

some kind of day

We had the most amazing thunder and lightning storm last night. This never happens here! I woke up at three a.m. to my entire house shaking, and this loud noise all around, followed by the biggest flashes of lightning I've ever seen. It was like a light show, or a huge camera flash outside my window. Of course, my dog slept in my bed with me because she was so freaked out. And it rained, though it is only September! Though it has cleared up a bit since this morning, I decided it'd be a good day to spend inside, doing cozy things. My mom is having a trunk show downstairs for CAbi (Carol Anderson by Design) and some of the clothes are so adorable, I can't wait to snag them! I took out my trusty Canon EOS 20D and fired that baby up this morning, taking shots around the house. Here's the product of my lazy day:
